I’m Erica and I love making pictures.
I love capturing the honest and beautiful moments in peoples lives—whether that’s in a portrait, at an event, or through a spontaneous moment. Originally from Houston, Texas, I’ve had the pleasure of living both nation and world-wide. Though I am now based in Phoenix, Arizona, I frequently travel for work and love every opportunity to shoot in new places. With experience in locations ranging from Utah to Spain to Los Angeles, I'm available for projects anywhere.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography just over a decade ago and I’ve had the privilege of working professionally in this field ever since. I truly consider myself lucky to do what I love.
My career began in photojournalism and documentary photography. It’s that same curiosity about people—their stories, emotions, and experiences—that continues to inform my work today. Whether I’m photographing a CEO in a studio, an artist in their studio, or a family laughing together, I focus on capturing moments that reflect who they really are in a way that feels natural and authentic. It’s all about connection for me, and I pride myself on creating an atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with amazing clients like The Hollywood Reporter, Heineken, Starz, Domo, Sixt, Incisal Edge Magazine, Bravery Magazine, Novva, and Chatbooks, to name a few. In addition, as an associate photographer with Justin Hackworth Photography, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients such as Utah Business Magazine, Pelion Ventures, and Studio C.
